Okouro docs

One timesheet per consultant per period. The period length comes from the account’s cadence - Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, Bi-monthly, or Quarterly - configured in Organization settings along with where periods start and how many days after the period begins the sheet opens automatically. Weeks and fortnights pin to a weekday, bi-monthly and quarterly periods pin to a starting month, and monthly periods are calendar months.

How sheets are opened

For each period, Okouro opens a timesheet automatically for every consultant with at least one assignment overlapping that period. An admin can also open one manually from the consultant’s profile; the chosen period must not overlap any existing sheet.

Filling in a sheet

Each assignment line gets its own card: the mission name, the billing rate (masked for roles that may not see it), a work-day tally, and a comment.

  • Click a day cell to cycle it through not worked, worked, and half day (values 0, 1, and 0.5).
  • The tally updates live.
  • The legend distinguishes Worked a full day, Worked half a day, and Not worked.

Sheets are editable while Draft or Rejected.

Submission and review

  1. The owner - or an admin - selects Submit on a draft or rejected sheet.
  2. The sheet joins the review queue, visible to admin and team leaders.
  3. An admin, or a team leader for a subordinate’s sheet, selects Validate to close it out.
  4. An admin, or a team leader for a subordinate’s sheet, can instead Reject the sheet; a reason is required and is shown back to the consultant.

A rejected sheet becomes editable again, and submitting it clears the rejection reason. An admin can also:

  • Attach a late assignment to a draft or rejected sheet with Add assignment (backfill), for assignments confirmed after the sheet was opened.
  • Delete a draft outright with Delete timesheet. Only drafts can be deleted.

Reminders

Okouro emails consultants about timesheets still waiting to be submitted. Submissions, validations, and rejections also land in the notification center. See Notifications.
