Beside the founding administrator, users enter an account through invitations. An administrator raises an invitation from the Users page.

Sending an invitation

  1. Open Users in the Administration section of the sidebar.
  2. Select Invite a teammate.
  3. Enter the person’s Email and choose a Role. The default role is Consultant; the other options are the remaining account roles - administrator, operations, and executive.
  4. Select Send invitation.

The invitee receives an email with a link to join the account.

To bind a consultant profile to the invited user, do it from the profile side: create or edit a consultant and choose Invite a new user. The binding is applied when the invitation is accepted.

Accepting an invitation

  1. Open the link from the email.
  2. Enter your Full name and a Password.
  3. Select Accept invitation.

You land straight in the account. Acceptance creates your user with the invited role. If the invitation was bound to a consultant profile, the binding is applied when possible; if the profile has been removed in the meantime or is already linked to another user, the binding is skipped.

Pending invitations

Invitations that have not been accepted yet collect in the Pending invitations section on the Users page. Select Revoke to withdraw one; a revoked link stops working.

Expired invitations

Every invitation expires seven days after it is sent. The check happens at acceptance: an expired link is refused, as is a link that was already used or revoked. Have an administrator raise a fresh invitation.

Forgotten password

Either the user themselves or an administrator can mint a password-change link. The link is emailed to the user, is single-use, and expires after one hour. Opening it lets the user set a new password, and completing the step signs them straight in. See Personal settings.
