The Staffing page compares workload against capacity: declared timesheet days behind you, a forward forecast from active assignments ahead of you. It is visible to administrators and executives only.
Controls
- Date window -
FromandTopickers; the default spans six months back to six months ahead. - Granularity -
Week,Month, orQuarter(defaultMonth). - Maximum width - at most 24 periods per view; a wider range is refused.
- History limit - the start is clamped to the analytics history your plan allows.
Reading the numbers
| Periods | Show | Built from |
|---|---|---|
| Past and current | Actuals | Days declared on timesheets, whatever their status |
| Future | Projections | Working days covered by active assignments, capped at capacity |
Two consequences follow. First, actuals count declared days regardless of timesheet status: a draft or rejected sheet feeds the numbers just like a validated one. Second, capacity is the period’s working days minus approved time off, so projections never exceed 100%.
Layout
Stat strip - Team staffing for the in-progress period so far (declared days over working days), Next period forecast, On bench (consultants with no active assignment), and Projected gaps (consultants below 70% next period).
Needs attention - exceptions first:
- Consultants on
Bench - Consultants projecting below 70% next period
- Anyone above 100% this period
Each row links to the consultant’s profile; the list shows All clear when nobody needs a look.
Team trend - one bar per period, color-banded:
| Range | Color |
|---|---|
| Below 70% | Red |
| 70-85% | Amber |
| 85-100% | Green |
| Above 100% | Dark red |
The in-progress period is striped; projections are dashed. Hovering a bar shows how many working days have elapsed and the pace if held to period end.
The same view exists per consultant on the Staffing tab of their profile. See Consultant profiles.
With no consultants in the account, the page asks you to add consultants to start tracking.
